And I am not aware of it being illegal anywhere. They're using the same interface everyone else uses. But prosecuting them is another story since I don't think it is a crime in most (if any) jurisdictions. You can persecute them, such as what people are doing in this thread, but to no effect. Especially at low to mid stakes where the games have the largest players pools, largest edges straight up, and the risk/reward is far worse odds for the potential cheater in that scenario. A future of a much greater regulated online poker where a potential cheater faces a much harsher penalty for their crime would be a deterrent for the vast majority. That's the real chance here for online poker's future.

There is massive money up for grabs in robbing banks but 99.9% of the world's population would never attempt to rob a bank because of the severity of the punishment. Sure, if you are good you can still make high five figure to lower six figure yearly returns on average at midstakes, etc but it's not massive in terms risk/reward if the punishment actually fit the crime of cheating in online poker.

There really isn't massive amounts of money up for grabs online anymore and especially not massive amounts of money up for grabs in the most popular mid to lower stake games. So long as there are massive sums of money up for grabs there will be people fighting for every edge they can get, whether it's ethical or not. I hate to be pessimistic about it and jump on the 'online poker is dead' etc bandwagon but it's the harsh reality. Like at the highest level the best players in the world already spend thousands of hours learning from and memorising solver outputs and from a third person perspective there is no way of differentiating long term solver study with real-time solver assistance.
